About
Jessica Healey is a full-time singer-songwriter and jazz vocalist in Austin, Texas. Brought up in Fort Worth, Jess moved to San Marcos where she studied acting at Texas State University and graduated class of 2021. She relocated to Austin and was so warmly embraced by the vibrant live music scene that she accidentally began a career in music.
Jess performs as a blues vocalist for “King Daddy and the Flat 5,” lead vocalist for her straight-ahead jazz ensemble the “Jessica Healey Quartet,” and front man for her all-original folk-jazz band which performed an official 2024 showcase at South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival.
Jessica has been a featured solo artist in the SoFar Sounds ATX Concert Series (2024), the Austin Music Love House Concert Series (2024), and the ATX Songwriters Collective Showcase (2023 and 2024) with her indie-folk pop orginals. Her solo and duo cover sets are comprised of top 40 hits, pop, indie-folk, country, jazz, and originals.
With two new singles coming your way this August 1st and August 22nd, you can hear her two currently released singles “strange” and “at the time” wherever you stream music.
